Patrick Diehl focuses his practice on early stage companies and investment funds across a range of legal needs including formation, financings, mergers and acquisitions and other strategic corporate transactions and general corporate advisory.

Prior to joining Matterhorn, Patrick practiced as a corporate attorney in the San Francisco office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati and the New York office of Jones Day, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions. Patrick has counseled clients on transactions worth more than $1 billion in the aggregate.

Patrick graduated from the Columbia Law School as a Harlan Fiske Scholar, and with honors in Political Science from the University of Chicago.

Patrick is an avid skier and chef and loyal fan of the San Francisco 49ers with his wife Amy.
