With over a decade of experience providing strategic corporate counsel to clients ranging from boot-strapped companies to Fortune 10 corporations, Thomas’s practice spans a wide breadth of corporate transactional needs. He is equally as comfortable advising founders as they navigate early stage financing rounds as he is guiding clients through the complexities of selling a company. He’s a trusted advisor and counselor to 75+ venture-backed companies and investment funds.
Before founding Matterhorn, Thomas was a corporate attorney in the M&A group of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York City and then in the San Francisco office Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati PC. Throughout his career, he has advised on transactions with an aggregate value of more than $45 billion, and has managed nearly $2 billion in aggregate deal volume as a partner at Matterhorn.
Thomas earned his law degree from the New York University School of Law, and his bachelor’s of science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to law school, Thomas was a Fulbright Scholar in Tunis, Tunisia.
In his free time, Thomas enjoys traveling, skiing and playing with his Bernedoodle pup Noe.
